After a 6-month hiatus, Seryna shares vulnerable truths about opening Golden Soul Sanctuary, community work, and what it really takes to stay aligned with your path.
In This Episode:
Sometimes our unshakeable self asks us to pause the things we love to create space for something even more aligned. After six months away, Seryna returns to share the truth about what happened during her "break" – opening a physical sanctuary, rediscovering the power of face-to-face connection, and learning that inspiration doesn't always look like we think it should. This episode is about honouring the seasons of your work, recognizing when the survival self is running the show (even in our most sacred projects), and trusting that your path is unfolding exactly as it needs to.
What You'll Discover:
- Why the "New Year, New You" energy might be keeping you stuck in old survival patterns instead of helping you grow
- The survival self pattern of needing external validation to feel worthy (and how it shows up even in heart-centred work)
- How being in community and receiving real-time feedback can nourish parts of us that online work can't reach
- The practice of setting 13 intentions at Solstice and letting the divine choose which one is yours to carry
- Why exhaustion and inspiration can coexist when you're truly living your unshakeable truth
Episode Highlights:
00:32 - Welcome back: What really happened during the 6-month "break"
01:23 - The universal lessons hidden in personal journeys (yours, mine, ours)
03:36 - Why January 1st energy isn't about fresh starts – it's about continuation
12:51 - The survival self trap of needing feedback to know your work matters
14:42 - Witnessing vulnerability in circle: The unexpected gift of physical community
17:00 - Sneak peek: Bali writing retreat and finishing The Unshakeable Self book
About New Year Energy and Survival Self Patterns:
We've been conditioned to see January 1st as a magical reset button – a chance to become someone new, leave the old behind, start fresh. But what if that's actually a survival self strategy keeping us from the deeper truth? The survival self loves new beginnings because they feel safe. They're full of potential without the risk of actual follow-through. They let us imagine ourselves transformed without doing the uncomfortable work of transformation.
Your unshakeable self knows that growth isn't linear, that "new year, new you" is a myth, and that real change happens in the messy middle of sustained effort, not in the sparkle of January intentions. This episode explores what happens when we stop treating our lives like projects that need constant relaunching and instead recognize that we're already in the middle of our becoming.
Seryna also gets vulnerable about one of the survival self patterns that showed up in her own work: the need for external validation. When the podcast wasn't getting regular feedback, when the downloads felt inconsistent, the survival self whispered that maybe the work didn't matter. But opening Golden Soul Sanctuary and being face-to-face with people showed her something important – sometimes we need to change the container to remember why we do the work at all. Not because the podcast wasn't valuable, but because her soul was asking for something different: real-time connection, witnessing vulnerability, holding space in person.
This is what living as your unshakeable self actually looks like – messy, tired, inspired, uncertain, and deeply aligned all at once.
Resources Mentioned:
- Solstice Intention Ritual: Write 13 intentions, burn one each night from Solstice to New Year's Eve, discover your soul's assignment on January 1st

- The Unshakeable Self book (in progress – first draft coming August 2025 at Bali writing retreat)

The Plan vs. The Truth: A Mid-Year Check-In
Sunday Jun 29, 2025
Sunday Jun 29, 2025
What happens when the life you planned stops matching the truth you're being called to live? This honest and grounded reflection is a soul-level invitation to pause, reassess, and let yourself shift. Seryna shares what it looks like to surrender to a new direction, release timelines that no longer feel aligned, and stay rooted in radical self-honesty—even when it means letting go of goals you once held close.
This is about honouring what’s real, not just what was written on a vision board in January. It’s a reminder that rest is not a reward, truth can evolve, and you are allowed to change your mind.
This Episode Is Perfect For You If...
- You feel disconnected from the goals you set earlier in the year
- You’re struggling with guilt around pivoting, pausing, or slowing down
- You’re learning to listen to your body instead of the pressure to push through
- You want to lead your life with clarity, not just commitment
- You’re ready to trade hustle for honesty and choose what lights you up
"Let's ask ourselves the questions about if the things that we are pursuing... are actually the things that we want to do, or if we need a little nudge and a little course correction.”
In This Episode
- (00:58) – Why mid-year check-ins matter more than goal setting
- (02:14) – The difference between giving up and telling the truth
- (03:37) – Updates on Seryna’s community space and what’s being reimagined
- (06:28) – Summer fatigue, nervous system needs, and collective grief
- (08:59) – The inner dialogue around rest, shame, and productivity
- (10:49) – Naming burnout and reclaiming presence
- (12:11) – When doing the work means pressing pause instead of pushing through
- (14:15) – Releasing what no longer fits and choosing congruence over commitment
- (20:34) – A soulful invitation to check in, realign, and lead yourself forward
"Congruence is such an ugly word and it is like the highest praise for me, because congruence is something that I am looking for, for myself as a standard—more than joy, more than happiness, more than success."

The Filtered Truth: Channeling, Discernment, and Knowing What's Yours
Sunday May 18, 2025
Sunday May 18, 2025
What happens when spiritual messages come through the lens of personal bias, trauma, or unhealed belief? In this candid episode, Seryna explores the nuance of channeling and spiritual discernment. With raw honesty and a grounded approach, she unpacks what it really means to be a channel, how messages are filtered through our lived experience, and why your intuition matters more than any guide, guru, or spiritual teacher.
This isn’t about gatekeeping your spiritual practice. It’s about reclaiming energetic sovereignty, challenging spiritual arrogance, and learning to trust your knowing, even when it contradicts someone else's version of truth.
This Episode Is Perfect For You If...
- You’ve started receiving intuitive messages but still question whether you can trust what you’re hearing
- You’ve been burned by spiritual spaces that claimed to hold the only truth
- You often override your own knowing in favour of someone else’s opinion or authority
- You want to feel more anchored, discerning, and sovereign in your spiritual connection
- You’re ready for a more honest, mutual relationship with your spirit team—one rooted in trust, not bravado
"I’m not here to be anyone’s guru. I’m here to remind you that you already know."
In This Episode
- (03:00) – What it really means to channel, and how your experiences filter the message
- (10:40) – Spiritual arrogance and how unchecked ego can muddy the truth
- (17:30) – Why discernment is a non-negotiable part of intuitive work
- (25:20) – Recognizing projection, bias, and harmful spiritual dynamics
- (35:50) – Building trust in your intuition by listening to your body’s response
- (46:00) – Energetic sovereignty and why your inner truth matters most
"There is no universal truth that applies to every single person in the exact same way. Context matters. Lived experience matters."

What if the version of you you’ve been trying to perfect was never the real you at all? In this fierce and grounding conversation, Seryna sits down with awakening guide and multidimensional space holder Keyla Ohs to explore what it truly means to lead yourself from wholeness and not performance. Together, they talk about the unraveling of identity, the courage to evolve in public, and how releasing duality creates space for self-leadership rooted in love.

What happens when the parts of you that have always needed control finally let go? In this deeply personal episode, Seryna takes us inside her MDMA-assisted therapy session—a seven-hour journey into memory, tenderness, and truth. With vulnerability and grounded wisdom, she unpacks how trauma shaped her survival self, what it meant to surrender control, and how that single session began rewriting her nervous system’s oldest stories.
This isn’t a how-to guide. It’s a firelit reflection on what it means to be held, to soften, and to finally believe you’re worthy of care just because you exist.
